Motorists are urged to watch out for school buses

UNDATED, Ala. (AP) -- The new school year starts today in dozens of Alabama counties and cities. Motorists are urged to exercise extra caution when traveling through school zones.

Drivers who pass stopped school buses can face stiff fines and can have their license suspended for a year.
