As I got out of my car I saw a mother helping her kid put on his teddy bear backpack singing "I'm so excited, and I just can't hide it." It was like something out of a commercial.
In other news, Pamela Ervin's third grade son James Dennard woke her up at 5:30 this morning asking if it was time to get ready for school. I don't remember ever feeling that way about my education.
No tears sightings yet, but I'll keep looking.
